Full Journal pdf1995-03-28 House Journal Page 0961 HB 17 The following, which was advanced to third reading from the March 27, 1995, calendar (page 935), was read the third time: 1995-03-28 House Journal Page 0962 HB 17 CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 17(L&C) am "An Act expanding the services that may be offered by an electric cooperative to include sewer and water and gas services when authorized by the Alaska Public Utilities Commission, and to include direct satellite television services; relating to officers of a telephone or electric cooperative; relating to amendment of the articles of incorporation of a telephone or electric cooperative; and providing for an effective date." Representative Barnes moved and asked unanimous consent that CSHB 17(L&C) am be returned to second reading for the specific purpose of considering Amendment No. 4. Representative Vezey objected and withdrew the objection. There being no further objection, it was so ordered. Amendment No. 4 was offered by Representatives Barnes, Green, Brown and Mackie: Page 2, line 3, following "provider": Delete "of the same kind of utility service" Insert "under AS 10.25.020(6) and (7)" Representative Barnes moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 4 be adopted. Representative Mulder objected and withdrew the objection. Representative Vezey objected and withdrew the objection. There being no further objection, it was so ordered. Representative Brown moved and asked unanimous consent that CSHB 17(L&C) am be referred to the Finance Committee. Representative Green objected. Representative Brown moved and asked unanimous consent to withdraw the motion.
